Students probably hear a lot about polls, particularly with regard to politics and even more so during an election year. Join us as we explore Polling the Nations, an online database of public opinion polls containing the full text of 750,000+ questions and responses covering such topics as fundamental views about life, attitudes toward schools, spending priorities, and viewing preferences. This informative database consists of 18,000+ surveys conducted from 1986 through the present by 1,700+ polling organizations, including Gallup, Quinnipiac, Pew Research Center, and YouGov. The information provided in Polling the Nations is especially useful for pro/con debates, presentations, and reports.
