The World Almanac® for Kids Elementary: Three New Modules

The World Almanac® for Kids Elementary now has three brand-new modules:

  • Matter: This module introduces young readers to the concept of matter, with topics such as “What Is Matter?”, “States of Matter,” “Changing States of Matter,” and “Measuring Matter.” Fun Facts articles and videos are included.
  • Building Character: Timely, accessible articles and videos on topics such as character traits, teamwork and good sportsmanship, and getting along with others, as well as Fun Facts articles.
  • U.S. Symbols and Landmarks: Describes some of America’s most historically important landmarks—including Ellis Island, Independence Hall, the Alamo, the Lincoln Memorial, the Statue of Liberty, and the Washington Monument, among others—as well as U.S. symbols such as “The Star Spangled Banner,” the bald eagle, the Great Seal of the U.S., Uncle Sam, and the U.S. Flag. Fun Facts articles and videos are included.

Matter, Building Character, and U.S. Symbols and Landmarks join other kid-friendly, curricular modules in The World Almanac® for Kids Elementary, including Countries of the World, First Civilizations, Reader’s Corner, America in Word & Song, and many more.
