Infobase Partners with ETV StreamlineSC

Infobase announced that ETV StreamlineSC has adopted Learn360 as its content provider for the educational community in South Carolina, making it available to all public, private, charter, virtual, and home schools throughout the state. The soft launch began last August, and with the transition now complete, Learn360 has become the “backbone” of ETV’s free video-on-demand resource.

South Carolina’s Educational Television (ETV) Network’s Statewide mission is to provide educational services to elementary and secondary schools in South Carolina. ETV provides web-based media-on-demand services for all South Carolina K-12 public school districts, special schools, private schools, higher education institutions preparing future teachers, and home schools. ETV supplies needs-based educational resources to K-12 students, administrators, and staff. StreamlineSC—ETV’s online multimedia-on-demand resource—contains thousands of educational resources that are searchable by grade level, taxonomy, and curriculum standards.

The premier streaming digital delivery service for the K-12 education market, Learn360 offers more than 104,000 award-winning media resources from more than 130 top educational producers, such as BBC, National Geographic, Encyclopædia Brittanica, History, Cambridge Educational, and more. Its standards-correlated teacher and classroom materials include full-length videos, video clips, teacher guides, student activities and worksheets, newsreels, images, and articles, among a variety of others. It currently serves more than 25 million students in 33,875 schools across the United States and Canada.

“It’s great to have ETV’s StreamlineSC alive and well with our partner Learn360. Through Learn360‘s rich resources across all content areas, all of South Carolina will continue to have quality, secure, and easy-to-use preK-12 resources that truly help students and teachers,” said Dean Byrd, Director of Education, South Carolina ETV.

“We’re delighted to partner with ETV StreamlineSC and provide so many institutions throughout South Carolina with access to Learn360,” said Mark McDonnell, president and CEO of Infobase Holdings. “It’s an ideal match and allows us to extend the reach of one of our most popular digital products to a rich and vibrant educational community.”
