Syria Crisis: Should the United States use military force to resolve the conflict in Syria?

U.S. military force will not end the fighting in Syria. Such intervention will only drag the United States into another open-ended conflict in which there is no positive outcome, and would likely do little to mitigate the suffering in the country or resolve the crisis.
