Learn360 Named Winner in Tech & Learning’s Annual Awards of Excellence for Second Year in a Row

Learn360, an interactive media-on-demand service for the K-12 education market, was selected as a winner in Tech & Learning magazine’s 30th Annual Awards of Excellence, in the “Best Upgraded Product Winners” category. This marks the second year in a row that Learn360 has been recognized by this prestigious publication, which this year named 83 outstanding education technology products as winners.

“As schools continue to have to do more with less, buying the right solution for your district needs is more important than ever,” says Kevin Hogan, Editorial Director for NewBay Media’s Tech & Learning Group. “Tech & Learning is proud to present these recommended products that have been put to the test by our experienced educational team of judges.”

Entries were divided into two categories: New Products and Best Upgraded Products. A panel of more than 30 educators, who tested more than 160 entries, chose the winners. The “Best Upgraded Product Winners” category honors recently revised and updated products that have made significant enhancements since the previous version and evolved with the changing technology to offer the highest quality experiences for educators and students.

Learn360, recently acquired by Infobase Learning, offers 24/7 access from any Internet-enabled device, allowing teachers, students and parents to stream and download high quality full-length videos, video clips, images, audio files, research articles, teacher resources and more. Content is provided by top educational publishers, including A&E, History, Biography, National Geographic, Reading Rainbow, Weston Woods and Britannica Concise Encyclopedia…more than 60 in all. Additionally, all of Learn360’s video content is correlated to state, provincial, and Common Core standards, supporting 21st Century Learning Initiatives.
