Infobase is pleased to announce that two of its products are winners of The ComputED Gazette’s 22nd Annual Best Educational Software Awards (BESSIES): Science Online in the “High School Science Website” category, and Learn360 in the “Multi-Level Online Multimedia Courseware” category.
The ComputED Gazette describes the BESSIES as awards that “target innovative and content-rich programs…and websites that provide parents and teachers with the technology to foster educational excellence.” Award winners are chosen annually and selected from titles submitted by publishers worldwide. The ComputED Gazette has previously awarded BESSIES to other Infobase databases, including Bloom’s Literature, Issues & Controversies, Today’s Science, World News Digest, The World Almanac® Online, The World Almanac® for Kids Online, and World Religions Online.
The award-winning Science Online database contains a wealth of proprietary book and journal articles, images and videos, topic-specific timelines, tables and charts, and diagrams that provide a thorough grounding in all areas of the science curriculum. It was recently redesigned and enhanced with a wealth of new content and a dynamic design that facilitates STEM research and learning.
