New content has just been added to two of The World Almanac® for Kids Elementary‘s kid-friendly, curricular subject modules, including:
- The new “Polar Regions” section of the Habitats in Our World module covers all aspects of the Arctic and Antarctic regions, with articles and images on the following topics, plus a clear glossary:

- Polar Regions Plants and Animals
- Threats to Polar Regions
- Protecting Polar Regions
- In addition, the Holiday Celebrations module now features new articles on holidays, including:
- Valentine’s Day, under “Winter Holidays”
